From the 6th to the 9th of August, when the mercury level was at its highest, some of us were on summer breaks but few did not stop. Philippe Perut, our representative in New-England, was one of the few. He represented us during the NEPC annual show. Such gatherings always bring together key actors of the parking industry of Massachusetts, New-England and more generally the United-States. After a 2020 canceled edition, the return journey was greatly appreciated by everyone and marked a fresh start for Infotraffic and their partners.

Our materials and services were for the first time exposed in Columbus-Ohio during the 13th and 14th of July for the annual conference, trade show and exhibition of the Ohio Parking Association. That annual trade show gathers once a year every local actor of the state, from public organizations and municipalities to the Ohio State University or the manufacturer Tiba, who has its national headquarters in the state. Our solutions were exposed with success thanks to the work of our local partners Traffic&Safety, distributor and integrator of parking equipment for the parking industry for more than 40 years in the states of Michigan, Ohio and the Great Lake Area.

10 degrees on the termometer, snow was mostly covering the ground of New-England during that winter morning. But still, our technical staff manage to instal a new Infotraffic System TV® solution right in the heart of Cambridge at Kendall Square. That monitor now broadcasts road traffic and public transit information as well as weather forecasts in one of the prestigious buildings of the MIT, operated by JLL. The development of our solution is done following the construction of a new innovative center hosting companies such as IBM, Boeing or Capital One. It’s a new success for our team, and another evidence of the growing interest for our solutions in the United-States. So, did you found it ?

One of the main challenges regarding dynamic signage today is called continuity. When content must be updated regularly, as for real time information for instance, the quality of the network, and all the network infrastructure must be strong enough to support daily operations without any disruption. Nonetheless various partners came to us stating that their dynamic signage software was from time to time broadcasting a black screen or an error message, when the network was having a breakdown. Today we are pleased to announce that we develop a new broadcasting mode based on widgets. In production by our R&D team for a few months now, widgets allow for a reliable and permanent broadcast even if the network is having issues. In order to highlight on street visibility of its parking lot in Lyon (France), our long time partner Indigo wanted to upgrade and modernize its outdoor dynamic signage communication. Infotrafic France came up with an exclusive solution including LED panels for dynamic signage. The two backlit static boards were replaced by two LED panels allowing for a communication more dynamic, personalized and brighter during night time. As for every monitor installed in that parking lot, deployed for Dynamic Pricing purpose, the content is monitored by our Infotrafic System TV solution.
